
With Summer 2025 in full sun and heat, Hunt Branch Library proudly welcomes its new exhibit hosted inside of the Hunt Gallery. Flossie Loves Fullerton features world renowned Fullerton artist Florence Arnold. Florence moved to Fullerton in 1925 and lived here until her death in 1994. At age 50 she began to paint and gained international acclaim in those later years, especially for her Hard-edge painting style. She was equally known in Fullerton for her dedication and mission to bring more arts to the city. She helped accomplish this by becoming one of the founders of “A Night in Fullerton” and serving on the event committee for many years The exhibit features original paintings, posters, and artifacts.
The exhibit is on view through September 2025 and was made possible by the Fullerton Public Library Foundation, Fullerton Public Library Local History Room, Fullerton Parks and Recreation, and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center.
