New York Times
Read the NY Times in the library, at home, or on-the-go using mobile browsing or an app on your smartphone! You will need an email address to set up an account with The New York Times (which is separate from your library account), but access will be free if you connect using the library’s links.
Brainfuse HelpNow
Brainfuse HelpNow is delivered via a web browser where you select a service and the WebConnect online classroom launches. WebConnect allows tutors and patrons to communicate in live, online sessions for FREE. You can create an account if you'd like or use as is.
VetNow by Brainfuse
Brainfuse VetNow features live online assistance, resume lab help, and wide range of academic tools to help job seekers and veterans reach their goals.
Learning Express
Features nearly 1,000 online tutorials, practice tests, and eBooks to help patrons of all ages. It offers job search and workplace skills improvement, skill building in reading, writing, math, and basic science, career certification and licensure exam prep, college and grad school entrance test prep, GED® test prep, and more.
Coursera’s mission is to help individuals build the skills they need for in-demand jobs. Provides learners with access to more than 5,000 courses and certifications led by top businesses, universities, and organizations. Courses include: English for Business and Entrepreneurship (ESL), Foundations of Public Health Practice, Become an EMT, Bookkeeping Basics, Introduction to Google Docs, Design a Restaurant Menu, Food and Beverage Management, Branding: The Creative Journey. Contains “Gateway Certification,” a program for people without a college degree and with no experience in the field, built by leading companies such as Google. Facebook, and Salesforce. Offers subtitles in more than 50 languages
