Director's Welcome and Report

Judy Booth
Director of the Library
Welcome to the place we all share!
It is my genuine pleasure to welcome you to your public library, an integral part of Fullerton, the Education Community—a wonderful name for a city that is home to so many committed educational institutions. Lifelong Learning is part of our City’s core ethos. As we all adapt in our own ways to live during the current pandemic the Library has adapted and will continue to do so in order to serve our Mission:
The mission of the Fullerton Public Library is to serve the diverse needs of our patrons, foster learning, provide resources, inspire creative thinking, and bring the Fullerton community together. It is a place where information and items of recreational, educational, and leisurely interest are collected, preserved, and made available in print and electronic formats. Whatever connects the people to ideas and concepts, it’s here at the Fullerton Public Library.
We brought Curbside Service to our patrons in early May of 2020 and the public returned (masked and socially distant) to the library’s interior in March of 2021. During the current surge, we have paused Storytime and rearranged furniture to do our best to foster social distancing. We continue to follow health orders on mask-wearing. Our Library with its physical offerings and our virtual resources are here for your use.
Please be sure to contact me if you have questions about your public library or just want to say “Hello!”
