Renewing a library item
To renew a library item
The Login page lets you log in to your individual user account (called "My Account"). Your user account is a record of your personal information, any items you have currently checked out, any holds you have requested, blocks on your account, and any lists you have created or saved.
To log in to My Account
a.
Click the My Account tab

Enter the barcode from your library card in the Borrower ID field. Enter all of the numbers with NO spaces.

Enter your PIN in the PIN field.

Click Login.
Your Account Overview page will open listing the different functions you can access from your user account.
Ø
CHECKED OUT: See and renew currently checked out items.
Ø
HOLDS: Items ready to be picked up and waiting to become available
Ø
FINES/BLOCKS: Fines, blocks and account messages
Ø
PROFILE: See and change address, phone number, email address, PIN and preferences (Currently only the PIN may be changed by patron.)
A list of items you currently have checked out will be displayed.
The item(s) selected will be renewed. You must do the following (# 5 below) to verify the renewals and see the renewal dates:
You will new be able to see the due dates of each item that was renewed.
It is important to do steps 5 and 6 to verify that items have been renewed.
7. When you are finished, log out of your user account.
Click on the LOG OUT button at the top, right of the screen.
Items that may not be renewed:

Feature Videos and DVDs
Ø
Rental Books and Rental Books on Tape
Ø
Items reserved for other patrons.
NOTE: Items may be renewed one time only.
