These allow teachers to check out course-related items
for a six-week period. Available to both resident and nonresident
teachers who teach in the city of Fullerton.
Teacher Requests
The Fullerton Public Library has many resources available
to help you and your students succeed. Our friendly and knowledgeable
staff can help you find the right materials to supplement your curriculum
and to help you encourage reading in your students. If you would
like our professional children’s services staff to select
materials for you, please come in for a visit.
To provide you with quality service, please keep in mind the following:
- There is a subject limitation on all requests, and the number of
books supplied will be based on availability of materials. Our
staff will do their best to accommodate your needs. Please allow
five days from order due date. Please call on your pick-up date to
ensure your books are ready for you.
- Please call if you cannot pick up your books on the scheduled
day.

For kindergarten through 12th grade. The state has compiled a collection
of outstanding literature for children and adolescents. The recommended
titles reflect the quality and the complexity of the types of material
students should be reading at school and outside of class.

Museum Center
The Fullerton Museum Center is dedicated to developing
and presenting the best in multi-disciplinary exhibitions
and educational programs in the areas of history, science
and art.

Santa
Ana Zoo
The Santa Ana Zoo occupies 20 acres and includes a rain forest,
endangered species, an aviary, a steam train and children’s
zoo right in the middle of the Orange County urban jungle.
It is a fun place for your whole family to enjoy and rediscover
the wonder of the natural world together.

Fullerton
Arboretum
The Arboretum is a 26-acre botanical garden with an ecologically
arranged collection of plants from around the world. The beautiful
grounds offer visitors a peaceful garden setting in the midst
of our urban area. Children’s classes and activities
are offered.

The Children’s
Museum at La Habra
Children can ride a kid-size carousel, take a walk in T-Rex's
footprints, pet an Arctic fox, pump gas, drive a bus, dress
up and perform, and dig for fossils all in one afternoon!

The
Bowers Kidseum
The KIDSEUM, an 11,000-square-foot children's museum,
provides arts and cultural activities for thousands of children
and their families. Kidseum is a place where children can
experience and celebrate the beauty, ceremony and history
of many different cultures.

Oak
Canyon Nature Center
The center is a 58-acre natural park nestled in the Anaheim
Hills. Consisting of three adjoining canyons, four miles of
hiking trails traverse one of the few remaining areas of oak
woodland and coastal sage scrub in our region. The John J.
Collier Interpretive Center is a small museum with live animal
and regional natural history exhibits.

Orange
County Marine Institute
We invite you to explore with us…a world where you are
not just an observer but one in which you ride the high seas
aboard a historic tallship, record observations of marine
mammals, observe a sea creature that can spit out its stomach,
or learn the skills of a research scientist!
