READ WITH THE DOGS

   

 

Every 2nd Wednesday of the month drop in between 6:00 – 7:00 pm and read!

Certified therapy dogs and their handlers from the Pet Prescription Team will be here each month. Elementary school children and their families are invited to meet the dogs and read them a story or two. Books will be provided by the library or you may bring your own book.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

A program for all elementary school children. Programs include storytelling, puppets, crafts, creative dramatics, hands-on demonstrations, and visits with special guests. No preschoolers, please.

TODDLER STORYTIME 

  • Main Library: Mondays 10:15 am

                                      Wednesdays 10:15 am or 11:00 am

A storytime for children under 3 years of age, accompanied by an adult. This program provides young children with a first group experience in enjoying books, nursey rhymes, songs, and fingerplays.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME:

  • Main Library:  Thursdays 10:30 am & 11:15 am

A storytime for 3 to 6-year-olds, this 30-minute program features stories, fingerplays, songs, crafts, and puppets. Children must be 3 years old by November 1, 2012.

 BEDTIME BEARS  

An evening Storytime:

  • Main Library: Tuesdays 7:00 pm

An evening storytime for children and their families featuring stories, poetry, puppets, songs, films, and crafts geared toward 3 to 6-year-olds. Children are invited to wear their pajamas.
